Situated in the delightful Georgian
market town of Alresford, Hampshire, The Bell is
a small family run Free House in a lovingly restored Grade two listed
former coaching inn. The Bell offers great food and carefully selected
wines in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Alresford is seven miles
from Winchester, the old capital of England. It is within easy reach of
the New Forest and the historic port of Portsmouth. The home of
Watercress, it boasts its own steam railway, many interesting walks,
gardens and historical landmarks all within a short distance.
At The
Bell, the bar is stocked with over 40 international wines available
by the bottle, with over 20 of these available by the glass. The
candlelit
restaurant and bar dining area offering fresh seasonal local produce,
cooked to order wherever possible.
The Bell is open 11:30am all day to 11pm Monday to Saturday and 11am
to 5pm on Sunday. Monday to Saturday lunch is served 12pm to 3pm and
dinner 6pm to 9pm. Sunday lunch is served 12pm to 4pm.
The Bell has six
character rooms. All rooms have Power Shower, Bath or both, with trouser
press, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and 24 hour access.
